A Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4 from the 7th Squadron, 54th Luftwaffe Fighter Wing (7./JG 54) designated as “Black 1” (W.Nr. 13088). This aircraft was flown by Oberleutnant Max-Helmut Ostermann. Ostermann recorded 102 aerial victories. He was shot down and killed in action by a LaGG-3 on August 9th, 1942. This is his winter camo variant. Artwork by Claes Sundin.
