An RAF airman talks to a pilot on the wings of his P-38F-1-LO Lightning (serial number 41-7644) of the 48th Fighter Squadron, 14th Fighter Group. On November 30th, 1942 this aircraft, which was being flown by 2nd Lt Arthur Vincent Cole, was shot down by a Bf 109 and baled out south of Tunisia and was captured.
